Whilst we are aware that the majority of our customers will be experienced anglers, we regrettably still have to apply some rules on the use of our venue and for the protection of the fish stock. These rules are as follows and will be enforced;
Protecting the fish:
- Maximum three rods per angler
- Rods must not be left unattended when lines are in the water
- Absolutely no sacking or retaining of fish allowed
- No braided mainline. Hooks - size 2 maximum, barbless only
- A suitably sized thick carp mat must be used, together with a sufficiently strong landing net
- Absolutely no marking of fish will be tolerated
- Please handle all fish with care and caution
Use of the on-site accommodation:
- A 150€ security deposit is required - please pay in Euros when you arrive. This will be returned to you at the end of the week providing there has been no damage caused
- Arrival at the venue – not before 1pm please, unless agreed in advance
- Departure from the venue – no later than 10am please
- Please remove muddy boots before entering the mobile home
- No smoking inside the mobile home
- Please do not put anything other than toilet paper down the toilets – our facility uses a septic tank and any other object will block the pipes and you will be held responsible for the cost of the unblocking!
- Please let us know immediately of any missing items, breakdowns or defects, so that we can rectify the problem rapidly.
- Please leave the mobile home and your swim area (including barbeque) in a clean and tidy condition for the next occupant.
- Please respect the tranquility of our neighbourhood by keeping noise such as radios, television etc., to an acceptable level
General:
- Bait boats allowed
- No rowing boats allowed
- No lakeside ground level fires are allowed, other than camping or angling stoves or barbeques – the safety of these items will be your responsibility. Please note that during times of drought in the area the local police may restrict the use of camping stoves, angling stoves and barbeques – you will be advised of this if and when necessary
- Please use the bins provided for litter and cigarette ends
- No swimming in the lake
- Dogs are allowed on site but must be kept on a lead at all times
- Waders are allowed for landing and replacing of fish only – not for distributing bait
- Cars must be moved to the parking area immediately after unloading
- Caravans and camping cars are allowed at this venue
The Management reserves the right to:
- Ask you to leave the venue should you break any of the rules
- Inspect and control your fishing equipment, including during the night
Please note that you are responsible for your own safety and the security of your equipment, including vehicles. Thank you for your co-operation.
