Details of your catches: Carp: 4 x 40's at 46-0, 41-8, 41-8 and 40-0, 24 x 30's to 39-0, 3 x 20's to 28-8 and 1 under 20. Cats: 2 at 37lb and 75lb. Grass carp: 5 to 21-0.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Fishing to left hand side of lake got 99% of fish. All boilies caught. Personally i would ignore feedback on using minimal bait as i used 25kg. Just look at the pics and you can see these are boilie eating machines.

Were the facilities what you expected? Yes, very basic - but did the job. There needs to be a freezer put in mobile home. Note gates at lake are open 24/7 - need lock.

General comments: The fish in this lake are absolutely stunning and cant be faulted at all. Lovely big fat mirror carp. All hard fighting. The lake was very unpredictable one minute there feeding, next there not.
The swims needs to be moved to right hand side of the lake as we had to have 3 people all fishing to left side. If the swims were moved everyone would have a good week.

Details of your catches: 14 total including: carp: 5 x 40's to 46-03 (new lakes lake record and first ever carp for linda moore), 5 x 30's to 38-07, 2 x cats at 41-02 and 36-11, 2 x grass carp to 28-02.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Left hand side & far left corner. Cell wafters and pop-ups. Small amounts of ground bait per rod, boated out. Casting to showing fish also worked.

General comments: This venue, it's management and fish stocks and condition exceeded all out expectations. A truly excellent place to spend a week with excellent results. Once again angling lines have produced the goods, and as a result once again a memorable fishing holiday....well done and thank you.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Active/cell pop-ups and tigers. Halibut pellets for cats. Left side for carp, cats all over.

General comments: Fab venue would recommend to all carpers looking for quality fish.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Top tip: (look for cloudy patches of water in lhs margin slack line tigers in day) we didn't pile much bait in at all as fish seemed to respond to small amounts of bait better. Stalked a couple out from lhs margin. Pva sticks & crushed boilies - about a handful per rod. Big halibut pellets for cats - although take boilies too. Cell 10mm / tigers / fluro pop-ups / maize / halibut pellet / n. Specials all caught

Were you happy with them? Yes. Rate overall 4.5. (we were promised replacement kettle & the one in digs was broken....it never came, not too much to ask surely!!) note: laurent bigot would like to offer his apology for this - he did go to the store for some bits and pieces but totally forgot to buy the kettle...

General comments: A reasonable weeks fishing considering the baking hot weather. The carp and cats caught in pristine condition as usual for bigot venues. Fish caught from most of the lake but at mid-way range and beyond. Smaller baits seems to work for us. Fish seemed to be starting to spawn in stock pond and could possibly start in here soon!! (if warm weather continues)

General comments: Lords lake is the best we have fished for the 14 years we've been fishing in france for quality and quantity.
