Darren Knight banked this cat of 85lb 6oz to take the lake record for a catfish. A previous big cat had its weight estimated, so darren claims the official record with this catch.

This week's anglers have suggested that we mention that there is a mini oven/grill as well as a micro wave at this venue. Not big enough for a full roast, but perfect for baked spuds and heating up pies etc.

Andy Fish, fishing with his mate Eddie Lucas bagged a brand new 50 pounder this week with this stunning 51lb 13oz common. This latest 50 is a new lake record for a Lords common. The lake record mirror still stands at 54lb.

The bait it took was a Cell boilie with pink pepper (crit bal).

As part of their regular fisheries management programme, the Bigots have just completed a stock check at Lords.  In January 2013 Lords was netted & every carp removed, weighed & returned.

Stuart Hayhurst has just banked a new lake record common with this 49lb 7oz stunner. Stuart said it's his first proper fishing trip to France and he's still learning the ropes. He also had a whopping 80lb cat. Fast learner!!
