Details of your catches: Approx 30 fish or so in total. Biggest was a mirror of around 35lb.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Those that caught could have caught on anything... So not too difficult, but only one side of the lake fished fished well for some reason

Were the facilities what you expected? Yes, very good people, very friendly
Were you happy with them? Yes. More than.

General comments: Enjoyed it all... A really lovely place.

Details of your catches: 14 fish including 31lb mirror, 29lb cat, 22.08lb common, several 20+ mirrors and commons/mirror doubles. All taken on boilies.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Mixed distances fished. Too close to far margin induced cut offs on rocks. Some bottom singles or doubles snowman. Some on pop ups or snowman pop ups. Boilies and scattered baits best results.

General comments: Our hosts were truly helpful and willing to assist any time, nothing was too much trouble. I had my dog 'cooper' with me and gigi assisted in making the necessary vets appointment on the friday at the vets in mayenne. They were genuinely disappointed that we had a very mixed week of weather and catches; the 2 other english brothers there suffered worse than us. They had the food package which they said was superb. We are a pair of oldies and unfortunately we don't photograph our catches, sorry. Your organisation, their assistance and the venue made for a smashing week, albeit not the best weather or catches. Thank you. We would happily return. Thanks again for our holiday, keith powell.

Details of your catches: Fished only part days and 1 full night during week stay.3xgrass carp to 19lb...1 x 30lb common....9 x 20lb mirrors and 6..... 4xmid doubles

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Bait boat/casting to far marginal bushes.used mainline cell/quest baits crab boilies which worked for the carp.tried corn/tigers/small 10mm pop-ups and was pestered by bream. No fish other than bream when trying to fish in open water.

General comments: Simply stunning lake to look at, as quiet and tranquil a water as you could wish for. Also was very clean with plenty of bins and bbq areas. Fishing good too.

Details of your catches: 1 angler had 1 x mirror and 4 grass carp to 22lb, jake had 1 common and 2 mirror up to 30lb.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Fished from island to far margins using rahja spice or plumb boilies with pineapple pop ups. Lost quite a few fish.

General comments: The owners were excellent and very helpful a very relaxed and friendly venue. The boys caught some lovely fish and jake broke his pb. The mobile home was much better than expected.

Details of your catches: 21 carp... 15 mirrors up to 37.2lbs 3 grass carp up to 26.8lbs 2 commons up to 26lbs

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Most baits worked well and all rigs worked well used bait boat and dropped tight to margins

Were you happy with them? Yes very friendly and bar-b-que with french is a must for anyone

General comments: We will be booking again 2012. We came april 2011 and caught two fish all week (fish were spawning). So we booked again and came first week of august and caught plenty of fish.
