Rules at Malvoisine

• Arrival time - not before 1pm.  Departure time - before mid-day please

• If there is more than one group on the lake there will be a peg draw if the anglers can't decide amongst themselves on swims.  This will take place when everyone has arrived or at the latest 2pm (French time)
  
  
• Four rods maximum per angler.  No braided mainlines, shock or snag leaders

• Hooks must be barbless or microbarb. No dangerous rigs, bent hooks etc. Rigs must allow fish to free themselves in the event of a breakage
• Baitboats are allowed.  Rowing boats are not allowed
  
  
• Unhooking mats are obligatory and must be wetted before use. Large landing nets (42 inch) minimum
  
  
• Please release all fish without delay – the sacking of fish is not allowed
  
  
• Bivvies should be green. Cutting trees or degradation of the natural vegetation is strictly forbidden.   French fishing permits are not necessary  
  
  
• Fires are not allowed.  Swimming is not allowed.  Please use the toilets provided
  
  
• All litter must be placed in the bins adjacent to the swims which will be collected regularly by the owner. Please assist him with the selective sorting (now mandatory in France) by using the appropriate bins for glass, plastics and tins etc.  All swims must be left clean
  
  
• The angler is responsible for his family and his guests, and any damage they may cause
  
  
• The management cannot be held responsible for any theft or damage to personal property on the premises. No refund will be given for an early departure
  
  
• All particle baits must be correctly prepared

• No use nuts of any sort. However tinned Tiger nuts are allowed
