Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Tried a few different methods and they all seemed to work. Did scatter loads of boilies around the bay i was fishing getting the carp to work for there food.

Were the facilities what you expected? Excellent facilities, showers where great and the lodge which two of my mates stayed in was top notch
Were you happy with them? Couldn't find a fault with anything of the trip apart from going to quick

General comments: Excellent hosts in wally and helen. Excellent people and just left us all to it. If we wanted anything it's was there. Can't fault the place at all 5*******

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Blowback rig with snowman hook bait and cell an activ 8 boilies little and often, one rod off the point of the island, one in open water, one on island margins. The lake record big lin was caught off the island point.

General comments: Great trip, started out cold with a bad northerly wind and first couple of nights below freezing. As it warmed up we started to catch and the warmer it was the better, fish in great condition and a very good average weight of fish in the lake, lots of thirties around 15 forties and nice twenties, wally and helen were great, they are such nice people and really could not be better, definitely coming back. Thanks for a great trip.

Were you happy with them? Yes, but most important of all was the hospitality shown by the owners wally and helen.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend? Yes, this is a delightful lake with wonderful surroundings. We fished very early in the year in exceptionally cold weather but can only imagine how beautiful it must be in spring and summer.
Would you recommend our services to a friend? Yes the level of communication was good and the service provided by angling lines team was always prompt and professional.

General comments: The lake and facilities were first class as was the hospitality shown by the lakes owners wally and helen. The food was ample and high quality with home favourites every day of the week. Breakfasts were also great quality and wholesome which set us all up for the day ahead (given sub-zero temps this was important)
