Rules at Monument

• Please do not arrive before 1pm and depart no later than 10am 

• No more than 3 rods per angler and no rods to be left unattended. This includes anglers with remote alarms... rods must not be left out! 

• Barbless or micro barbed hooks only and all rigs must be safe rigs and not fixed.  Line on carp rods must be at least 12lb  

• Rig tubing must be used and at least 24 inches long, this helps stop cuts on fish 

• Do not stand up to take photos of fish!  Keep close to mats and weigh all fish in slings and always hold fish above mats  

• No sacking of fish.  No marking of fish 

• Only commercially prepared particles to be used. Because not all anglers know how to prepare particles safely we can supply them to save you space if you prefer 

• No litter to be left in swims or on the banks.  Please use the bags supplied.  Pease do not leave cigarette ends on the bank or fields... put them in bins.  No fires... but BBQ’s on legs are OK 

• Bait boats are allowed, if used with courtesy 

• There is a boat on the lake for anglers to use in the event of a snagged fish. A lifejacket must be used 

• Whilst we understand that having a few beers is all part of a holiday, for their own safety anyone deemed to have had excess alcohol will be asked to leave their lines out of the water after dark
