Rules at Notaires

Security Deposit:  Before or on arrival you will be asked to provide a £150 (150€) security deposit.  This will be returned at the end of the week providing everything is left in good condition.  We would prefer a PayPal payment as this is very simple to refund.

Protecting the fish

• Maximum three rods per angler.  Rods must not be left unattended when lines are in the water.
  
  
• Absolutely no sacking or retaining of fish allowed
  
  
• Carp cots, weigh slings and landing nets must be disinfected before use
  
  
• A suitable antiseptic treatment like Klin-Ik must be used at all times
  
  
• Minimum 15lb mainline, fish safe rigs, micro-barb or barbless hooks only

• Braided leaders must be coated or covered. Lead core is not allowed

• No particles (except tinned sweetcorn/carp pellets or pre-prepared particles purchased on site) and no nuts of any type 

• No baits to be used which contain artificial preservatives

The accommodation

• Arrival – not before 4pm please, unless agreed in advance
  
  
• Departure – no later than 10am please
  
  
• Please remove muddy boots in the cloakroom & please, no smoking inside the house
  
  
• Please do not put anything other than toilet paper down the toilets – our facility uses a septic tank and any other object will block the pipes

• Please do not remove garden furniture from the garden
  
  
• Please let us know immediately of any missing items, breakdowns or defects, so that we can rectify the problem rapidly
  
  
• Heating; logs are available for the wood burning stove FOC.  If you require the gas central heating on an additional charge is payable.  Please speak to Chris or Stephanie who will explain the system & costs to you
  
  
• Please leave the house and barbeque in a clean and tidy condition for the next occupant
  
  
• Please respect the tranquility of our neighbourhood by keeping noise such as radios, television etc., to an acceptable level  

Use of the swimming pool

You are entirely responsible for your own safety. We provide the pool only, not a lifesaving or surveillance service. You use the pool entirely at your own risk.

The swimming pool is open for your use at the following times; 

• weekdays 9.30am to 6pm
  
  
• weekends 9.30am to 1pm 

The owners reserve its use for themselves outside these times.

• Children under 16 and any non-swimmers MUST be supervised by a responsible adult AT ALL TIMES
  
  
• Do not use the pool if you have been drinking alcohol
  
  
• Please shower before using the pool 

General

• No row boats but bait boats are allowed
  
  
• No lakeside fires, other than camping or angling stoves
  
  
• Please use the bins provided for litter and cigarette ends
  
  
• No swimming in any of the lakes
  
  
• Please do not feed the animals at the gite as it may encourage them inside!
