The Carp Lake

TopCats Fishing Resort koh Samui would like to invite you for that fishing holiday you will remember from the first cast to the last.

The resort is set in over 5 acres, with the 4½ acre lake totally enclosed in the most beautiful of settings.

There’s an air of tranquillity in which it’s impossible not to relax and enjoy yourself. 

The Carp

The angling is exhilarating you could be hooking into some of the world’s largest and most sought after freshwater fish such as;

• Giant Mekong Catfish up to 225lb
• Giant Siamese Carp up to 115lb
• Juliens Golden Price Carp to 55lb
• Arapaima Gigas up to 210lb
• Redtail Catfish up to the 146lb World Record
• Ripsaw Niger catfish up to the 84lb World Record

There are over 20 different species to catch and most anglers will have never seen such a diverse selection of large fish in one place! The lake has been designed and manicured to sit naturally within its own spectacular natural environment and many guests have said you just can’t explain the experience of fishing at TopCats... it’s like no other place in the World for freshwater fishing. Several guests have been back three times in one year!

The Facilities

Your accommodation is one of six 60 year old Thai Teak Houseboats which have been meticulously renovated in 2010 to the highest western standards. We have one and two bedroom boats which all come with air conditioning, power showers and flushing toilets.

We have two VIP boats one with bathtub for a relaxing soak and the other has its own private swim at the back of the boat. All the boats are set against a majestic backdrop of clear blue skies and mountainous tropical rainforest. We also have a large swimming pool for our guest to use to cool down.

Meals

Our beautiful open plan restaurant is the perfect place to recover after an adrenalin pumping session of fishing. The menu caters for varied tastes from authentic Thai food to old fashioned fish and chips or T-bone steak.
