Fish Feeding
Although fish are low in the lake due to the cold, they are still showing their faces & being fed through the ice. We are having to break the ice and pop in the carp pellets.

Tom's Lake is a top notch family venue with hosts who couldn't be more friendly. I would hazard to say that you are pretty much guaranteed to catch while Tom & Liz go out of their way to make your stay a good one.
Our visit coincided with temps in the mid thirties every day and they went and got a 3ft deep and 12ft wide paddling pool for our 3 yr old to cool off.
Not wanting to fish nights and taking day trips every other day (there's lots to do for kids nearby) fishing was set to be difficult but still landed 15 carp in the 4 sweltering days that I fished and never once got out before 9am or stayed out after 10pm, had 2 fish on at the same time on 3 separate occasions!
To sum up, if you're looking for a runs water that's also good for the family you should consider this place.
