One of the new stockies…
The stocking objective at Oakview this year is to increase the run rates and the percentage of commons in the lake.
To achieve this, we’ve selected 15 commons and 3 mirrors from the Bigot stock ponds – all young virgin fish between 15 and 19lb.
And just to ensure that our average catch weights remain high, we’ve included 2 more big carp.
We’ve decided not to announce the weights of the two big fish – we’ll leave that privilege to the Oakview anglers when they land them.
Oakview anglers can look forward to even more action and more chances of bagging new lake records in 2012.
