As you can see from the previous post I’ve been out and about visiting some of the venues over the last few days. I teamed up with Bridget at the Bigot’s venues for the stocking of a few new fish. You can see from the post below that we called in at Margot to see those fish introduced.
Also on the agenda was a visit to the Bigot’s two other waters Morgane and Commons.
First off though we all met up at the fish farm to load up the trucks with carp. These carp were netted from one of the holding ponds. This was the first time that Bridget had actually attended a netting and stocking, and immediately got stuck in with helping to weigh and load the fish.
Other than the ten carp and two sturgeon destined for Margot there were six fish to be added to Commons lake. These fish weighed in between 24lb and 28lb. (Michel had already added a mid thirty common last week). Once the trucks were loaded first stop was Margot (see article below) and then on to Commons.
