53.11 – what a start!
On arrival at Lac du Val (Saturday 7th May) over a cuppa and a chat we asked Dave’s how to fish the lake (only our 7th time you would think we would know by now!)
After all the tips given to us we made our way to the lake & within 10 minutes of casting the first fish was on the bank, another following before I could get my rod on it’s rest, and a new pb for myself.
The next morning my Dad (Gary) landed a beautiful 53lb 11oz mirror in total we have banked along with my sister a total of 403lb of fish within 48hrs.
