Browsing YouTube we came across this video of this 2009 Margot session when the 71lb common came out. Thanks to ProDave91 for the video… you can read his description of the session below;
Our trip to Margot in April 2009; a small gathering of pictures and videos of the fish. We had the lake exclusively to ourselves for the week and between the 7 of us managed nearly 200 carp, over 30 coming out to myself with only 1 being under 20! 9 x 30′s and the one 47lber. We were all competing for a cup and over 200 quid, which would go to the biggest fish. Typically I was beaten by the lake record… the magnificent 71lb common!
