Carp fishing in France at Lords
In yesterday’s post we saw carp below 22lb being removed from Lords. Here we look at the replacement fish being stocked.
.
Each fish being stocked is first is weighed at the stock pond, where the details are added to Michel’s master list of fish in the lake. Michel has compared these numbers with his original stocking lists and tells us that only 15 carp  escaped the netting.
.
As promised, here’s a copy of Michel’s master list, which records every known fish in the lake.
.
.
It makes impressive reading for a 3 acre lake! In summary the stock check revealed 4 x 40’s, 38 x 30’s, 41 x 20’s and 14 x cats to 70lb+
.
Carp fishing in France at LordsSo those of you who fish Lords in 2011 now have a rare opportunity to measure your skills against a known fish stock of carp and cats.
.
Fancy having a go at targeting one of the 40lb+ carp? How about the 60lb albino catfish? Will your average catch beat the lake average of just under 30lb?
.
Perhaps you just want to know that there are lots and lots of 30lb+ carp in front of you and hardly any under 22lb.  Now that’s reassuring!
