The platform on the cat lake
For anyone who has fished the cat lake at Morgane I was hoping they could advise me. I have seen the photos of what I think people refer to as the ‘wobbly’ wooden platform. Is that the only place to fish from?
I intend to do a few nights on the carp lake then switch to the cat lake later in the week. The photos dont really show the banks and the general layout but can you put a bivvy up close to the bank and still get to your rods quickly?
Finally, realistically how many people can fish the cat lake at any one time? I know the owner has made some improvements to the carp lake but for anyone who has been recently has anything been done at the cat lake? If anyone can help I would be grateful.

I can answer some of your questions as I popped in there recently. The platform is solidly built and attached to the bank. People probably refer to it as ‘wobbly’ because it’s a floating platform.
The platform is not the only place to fish the cat lake. You could bivvy up on the right side of the lake and access the boat from there too. I guess that you could bivvy up right next to the mobile home as an alternative. It’s a very short dash to the platform from there.
See below for some more photos. Hope that helps.

There's room to bivvy up on the banks...
