Keiron’s 44.08 Genets Mirror
Kieron Timbers arrived on Saturday 17th July with his Mum & Dad Dawn & Martin for their third visit to Genets. Kieron’s hope was that he could bank a 40lb’er as although both Martin & Dawn took new PB’s in 2009 Martin with a 50lb 8oz & Dawn with a 40lb 5oz… but a 40lb+ Carp had always eluded Kieron.
So on Thursday afternoon when we heard a great whoop of joy go up we just knew he had finally managed to break that magical 40lb barrier. He was of course absolutely over the moon with the 44lb 8oz Mirror. Not content with just the one 40lb’er he went on to land a 42lb 10oz Mirror less than 12 hours later.
This means Kieron has now beaten his PB each year during his last 3 years here at Genets with a 39lb 8oz in 2008 a 39lb 15oz in 2009 & now a 44lb 8oz in 2010. Well done Kieron!!
During their stay with us this year Martin, Dawn & Kieron banked 49 Carp totalling 1200LB in weight.
