Jonathan pools party of 3 on Lords lake 9th to 16th April managed a total catch of 58 carp: 3 x 40′s caught (1 caught twice) largest 46.4 plus 19 x 30′s largest 33.5 and 36 mainly high 20′s with some singles 
. a great start to the season and clearly enjoyed the warm spring temperatures too
The group approached the fishing in two ways :1.Just Boilies but a lot of free offerings, both singles and double baits worked. 2. Maize/hemp/pellet beds fished over with maize & plastic. No need to use complicated rigs just keep it simple is the advice given.
Lords lake is a young lake under the famous Bigot umbrella, it’s sister lakes being Morganes, Commons and Margot, well stocked and designed with a large double/treble swim in front of the mobile home great for a social alongside the fishing!
