I was wondering if you had any info on Roseau small lake?
Has there been many people fishing it, and if so, what are their catch reports ? We’re going on 6th of June (can’t wait). We went last year an had a great time, we had 8 x 30’s an loads of high 20’s hoping for a forty this time!
Any info appreciated, thanx.

Hi Keith,
Thanks for your query. The fishing on most of the French venues we deal with got off to a very slow start this year due to the prolonged and persistent rain. Roseau suffers particularly with this and it used to be marsh land before it was a fishing complex.
The lake has been fished steadily since the beginning of the season, with early results a bit disappointing due to the poor weather. More recently the results have been fairly good.
Most waters are however seeing the fish spawning, which will fortunately have finished by the time you take your holiday. There have been a number of good fish to come from the water including carp to over 40lb. As you will know if you have already been, fishing on the small lake is not as prolific as the large lake but your average size will be better. You also have the chance of hooking one of the large catfish that is due out and not been banked for a while now. I hope you better your catches from last year.
Best Regards, Gareth
