This picture of Monument was taken in 1991 and you can see how barren it all looks. The lake itself is a lot older and we are still trying to find out the history of it all.
Now look at it 20 years later…..
Surprising what 20 years can do, they say things better with age…I have to agree.
A shot of the island…
As you can see after 20 years of splendid growth you cannot see the other side, nice and private… makes me want to wet a line right now.
The fun lake…
… what can I say it looks rather flat and boring and not very fun at all!
But a total different picture now…
And myself and my daughter Izzy can definitely say we had a fun time with Ronny the sturgeon.
