All here at Lac du Val were very sad to say farewell to a friend and fellow carper Dave Morley, who sadly died after a serious illness. Dave had fished here at Lac du Val with friends Gary & Steve over the past 7 years.
His last wishes was to have his ashes scattered at Lac du Val and these wishes were carried out on Sunday 28th August by his wife Kim, family, fishing friends Gary & spoon and lake owners David and Sammy.
An oak bench with a brass plaque inscription was also bought in his honour and placed in a beautiful place overlooking the lake.
Dave Morley may be gone but he will always be remembered. Drift in peace friend.
