It’s late in the evening on Friday 12th March and Michel Bigot and his team are nearing the end of a long day of netting and sorting fish. The priority is always speed when big fish are on the move so the fact that it’s after dark and raining doesn’t slow the operation down one bit.
So despite the conditions, Lords receives a boost to its stock with another 15 carp added. This latest batch includes 5 mirrors weighing between 35lb and 40lb plus 2 commons weighing 40lb and 41lb.
Lords now has in excess of 100 carp to 40lb+ with an impressive head of 30lb+ carp, none of which will have yet seen a boilie.
