Beaurepaire Angling Holidays in FranceGraham Ball’s group were out at Beaurepaire last week. Here’s a quick round up of their catches…

Details of your catches: Mirrors of 19, 21, 24, 28, 31, 31, 39, 40. Commons of 5lb, 15lb, 17lb’s and a couple of bream.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs: Water level was up about 2 meters and this alone made the fishing hard. Particle would not attract the fish this time of year, all fish were taken on boilie and tiger nut.

General Comments: Been twice before to this lake and the later months are better, Mr cousin and his daughter are brilliant people and many thanks to the team at Angling Lines.Beaurepaire Angling Holidays

We have just had an update from Bernard at the lake.

After a really cold winter including snow up to this week, the weather finally looks to start getting milder from now on. The heavy rains over the winter period and the snow mean that we begin the season with high water levels with the spit being below water level and I would not anticipate a change in that anytime soon.

We will keep you updated when the spit becomes usable again. Meanwhile it should provide a good fishing plateau underwater for the feeding fish!
