We received these pictures through from Mr Lee, who fished at Lillypool this April.

Lillypool is a 4 acre spring fed lake with average depths of 3 to 8 feet with features that include lily pads (of course!), extensive reed beds, shallow and deep margins and an island. This lake offers quality carp up to 49lbs  in gorgeous surroundings.

General Comments: Lovely little lake, good stock of hard fighting fish.
Details of your catches: 47 fish between four of us – the biggest was 34.8lb.
Best tactics/bait/rigs: Spread of cell boilies little and often.

A new Lillypool lake record common for Martin Larner @ 43lb 3oz  -  a new PB for him.

It was his last day and it came with the last cast of the week!

Andy, Dave, Mark & Tony arrived at Lillypool on Sept 12th 2012 on a mission… to break the lake catch record of 80 carp for the week set in April 2012.

And break it they did taking 85 carp from 19 to 36lb, including new p.b for Dave and a 36lb common for Andy.

In this short video clip we share some of the action, plus an interview with the happy anglers.

The Army boys all from the 2nd Britalian Royal Welsh, based in  Tideworth, make their assult on Lillypool week commencing 6 August 2011 breaking new records with a total of 106 runs and 81 fish landed to 44lbs with a new PB for Paul Thomas.
