A new resident for Morgane @ 43.06
We are really pleased to say that Laurent Bigot has recently added another 9 carp over 30lb and two more over 40lb to Morgane Lake.

The best of the 30s weighed 35lb 4oz and the 40s weighed in at 43lb 6oz and 42lb 4oz.
These are added to the three 40lb carp we saw Laurent stock a few weeks ago.
It’s late November 2010 and three 40+ fish are added to the Morgane carp lake. The weights were;
42lb
42lb 8oz
48lb 6oz
That’s great news for this popular venue.
Last week (w/c 18.10.10) Laurent stocked seven catfish from 35 to 65 pounds into Lords. The 7 stocked brings the total number of cats in Lords to 14. The weight range is between 30lb and 65lb & included in this number is a rare mandarin yellow cat of 40lb. No photos I’m afraid :-(
Laurent also confirmed that he has added another 88lb cat to the cat lake at Morgane and a 60lb cat to Commons.

Mr Wrights party have had a bumper cat session at Morgane taking 11 cats for a total weight of 485lb. The largest was 112lb & that was caught by Mrs Wright. The cats were caught in daytime on halibut pellet or squid.
They also had 11 carp from the carp lake giving them a total catch weight for the holiday of 922 lb of fish.
On a short visit to Morgane (just fished 4 days – Sat, Sun, Mon and Friday) Linda had 15 fish on bank up to 29.07. She caught both mirrors and commons plus 1 bream.
Most frustrating was the loss of a 30lb+ grass carp off the mat as it jumped back in before she could get camera! She also lost 2 at net and suffered 5 hook pulls 
She fished all around the lake and in front of the mobile home in the evenings & nights and she found the new bay to be great for catching mid-afternoon.
