Each year we draw a winner from all the feedback forms we receive – they win a £100 holiday voucher. The winner of the 2010 feedback draw is John Dowd from London, he went to Notaires in August 2010. Here’s his feedback;

Brief details of your catches: All mirrors ranging from 34.08 to 11.08. Totaling 19 fish. Many just below the thirty mark (next year there will be plenty of thirties. Did not fish for the full week as family duties had to be carried out. So catch rate would have been much higher.
What did you find were the best tactics/baits: pop up maize / active 8 snowman over a good bed of hemp/maize/Chris mix. Not so many boilies were put in as close to the trees as poss but had to sit on rod. If you let them run they will snag in roots

General comments: Chris & Steph were very helpful when needed. Ideal venue for family, swimming pool was a great pull. The lake was close to the house which was great for anglers with family. The fish were in great condition and fought very hard(excellent). Found that heavy particle feed over pop maize accounted for most fish. Did not fish totally all week so could pop in have dinner , bottle of wine then pop out and catch a nice carp before bedtime. Many thanks to Chris & Steph, kids loved it, so did we. Definatly thinking of coming back again.
