Now this is true winter carping!
Mark Oakes experienced some true winter carping at Laroussi just before Christmas (w/c 26th November 2010). As you can see from the photo above he experienced around 6 inches of snow and had to come home 2 days early because the lake froze over!
Did he catch? He sure did…. a 43lb carp & a 51lb sturgeon.
He deserves a medal we reckon!
