Brief details of your catches: well there say a little bit heaven is somewhere for everyone and I found it at cedar lakes.Fishing swim 3 I 44 fish to 38lb-10ozs.Andy had 26 fish to 33lb-12ozs from swim 4.70 fish for the week.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: I used shockleaders to help with snags by tree line and short hooklinks to size 6 hook. Single and double boilies or tiger nuts all caught.

Were the facilities what you expected? Better

General comments: This is my best trip in 15years of going to france.Keep up the good work.Bivvie babe sandra is the best,do not ever lose her.Nothing was to much trouble for her. WE WILL BE BACK.

Swim 3+4. paul...6 x 30s to 38lb...21 x 20s to 29lb12oz...7 high doubles mostly mirrors,34 fish total to me.dave...1 x 41...2 x 30s to 32lb,10oz...13 x 20s to 26lb and 3 high doubles mostly mirrors,19 fish total to dave...overall total 53 fish to 2 anglers.top angling cedars.and look after the lady of the lake

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: tigers and boilies over partical fished to left and right far margins.a few bigger fish came from straight out front towards the middle.

Brief details of your catches: Well what a week we had, 42 carp, which is now believed to be a new lake record for two anglers,I also understand that my 32 carp haul is a single angler record. On top of the 42 caught we lost 9 through hook pulls & 5 through the mainline snapping (gravel bar in front of swim 3+4).DamianMirror Carp= 6 x 30+ to 39lb 1 ozMirror Carp= 16 x 20+ Mirror Carp= 3 x high doublesCommon Carp= 6 x 20+ to 28lb 2ozLorraineMirror Carp = 2 x 30+ to 32lb 13ozMirror Carp= 6 x 20+Mirror Carp= 2 x high doubles

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Fishing standard bottom baits was the winning formula, Carple steamer baits “Red Lobster Seaweed” was one that the fish loved, Tommy acknowledged that the fish seemed to love them. Keep rigs very simple, 6’ hair rigs with PVA nugget to protect the hook. Fish 6ft off the big tree (left + right) that is in front of the shower block. Fish could be seen patrolling tight to the shower block margin. Don’t be frightened to feed them, 60 boilies + two hand full’s of pellet every two hours. Once the fish find the bait them all seem to move in. Use a good shock leader like quicksilver as they run to the snags in swim 3 and the run over the high gravel bar in front of swim 4, without shock leader snap offs are highly likely.

General comments: A cracking lake with some potential, cabins need a little work to cater for non fishing partners.

General comments: A great weeks fishing, fascilities were excellent. Town centre only 5 mins from the lake. Sandra, Our very own Lady of the lake, What a gem!! I wish my local club had one of her on each lake, can't do enough for you!! Remember in the morning small coffee 1 sugar!!

Brief details of your catches: 32 fish in total ranging in weight from 22 lb to just under 42 lb - mainly mirrors but some lovely dark commons too. Probably quite old,all fish in excellent condition.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Flourocarbon zig rigs on short links with small pop ups worth a try,otherwise most other lead set ups work fine,good quality fruit boilies worked really well ..

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Most carp visible near swim 3 & 4. If fishing 3 & 4 be aware of the scaffold pole to the left of the swim, can be a problem if fish makes a run for the bay!

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: The 2 of us fishing in pairs allowed us to cover many different bait options.The heavily baited areas didn't produce well, but the margins, lightly baited with pellets produced heavily
