What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Quest Baits 20mm Special Crab fished tight to reeds in shallow end over pellet and broken boilie

General comments: Great Overall Holiday!! Weather conditions hampered fishing, but ideal venue. Lee helps you with his knowledge of the lake and comes down to see if you're O.K. - Top man. As for Tracy – Excellent cook and very pleasant. The food was Exceptional. Out of this world. Going to take her home!

General comments: Weather was beautiful, very hot. Slow during the day, nearly all action was seen at night. Fish were not really feeding so hard work, but that's carp!! Lee and family great, although drive and survive they could not do enough to help. I think Lee was more disappointed that we didn't catch more than we did. Lovely lake, they are in there... We will be back!!

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: All fish caught of Gorse Bank and from far end reeds. Quest's Special Crab boilies proved best with most catches at night.

General comments: Thanks very much for a great fishing break. I know Lee was disappointed at the lack of fish caught, but that's carp for you! 2 x PB's and a great stay, we all wish you and your family every success for the future. (Owners Note: Sudden rise in temperature at the beginning of the week was great for Steve's tan but also meant that the fish sat about doing not a lot unfortunately.)

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Liver B8 Boilies, Standard Rigs.Night fishing a must.

General comments: Lee & Tracy & Kids & Chickens & Cats & Geese & Ducks were all great hosts. We had Breakfast each morning and one evening meal – Fish & Chips plus pud which was lovely, we would highly recommend it. We arrived with the water as warm as bath water but unfortunately rain and 2 cold nights dropped the water temperature putting the carp off the feed. We still had a great time & THE RED WINE'S CHEAP!!!

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Fishing tight to the far bank. (Gorse Bank)

General comments: La Gléhias is a wonderful place to be. The Farmhouse and the grounds are kept very clean and tidy. The lake is well managed and is a super sun spot! The food was more than what we expected. What could be homemade was homemade, and it was all exceptional. Tracy is a superb cook and it was the best I have ever had! (Sorry Mum!) The Fishery House Book was very informative. Lee, Tracy and their children are lovely and very friendly. I am very saddened to have to leave back to grotty England. I wish you all the best for the future and thank you very much for everything you've done for us. Colin & Sarah

General comments: If you are looking for a lake in France to catch a few fish, you can't go wrong with this one! Lee & Tracy have worked hard to get this place up & running. In a year or two this place will be busy so book now. The meals were really good, even delivered down to the lake for you - what more do you want? New lake on the cards. We'll be back to fish this one. Look out for it. I wish you well - Jason
