Three Sixties in a row for Wayne at Laroussi!

Wayne Naylor has now fished Laroussi 3 times – and each time he’s had a 60lb’er!

Yorkshire based carper Wayne, landed his first sixty (63lb 8oz) on his first ever trip to France when he fished Laroussi in October 2005. He returned in March 2006 and a different whacker of 63lb 2oz picked up Wayne’s tiger nut boilie from the ‘Le Chene’ - the same peg that was the scene of his success the first time round.

No prizes for guessing which swim he chose this trip… and Le Chene did him proud again when in the early hours of Sunday 29th October a 60lb 2oz mirror picked up his Tiger Nut boilie, fished above hemp and presented on a N°8 wide gape hook, 13 inch hook link and 3oz lead.

Together with his two mates, Glenn Swaby and Simon Mank, they then went on to land 2 x 50’s (52.02, 50.01), 2 x 40’s (45.08, 44.04), 7 x thirties and 9 x 20’s – and as we write this it’s only Wednesday and they still have 3 days to go!

Glen was christened ‘Mr Sixty’ by lake owner Mehdi Daho last year… he’s certainly lived up to his name!
