Lillypool is a brand new Angling Lines venue for 2010 and it’s just 2.5 hours from Caen. The beautiful 4 acre lake has been meticulously developed by carp anglers over several years and it has everything needed to become a very popular exclusive venue.

Lillypool is a 4 acre lake with an island, reeds and mature lily pads which is perfect for 4 or 5 anglers - each having plenty of open water and loads of features to fish to. The flat banks and carefully thought out placement of swims means that each angler always has a choice of swims, giving that all-important edge for finding the fish.
Lillypool is set in 10 acres of fields and wooded areas – perfect for that ‘all this is ours’ feeling. It is accessed simply by leaving the adjacent main road. It’s very easy to get to and when you arrive Jay the bailiff will be there to meet you with your a glass off the red stuff or a cup of tea, whichever you prefer, whilst he walks and talks you through the swims.

The immaculate lakeside cabin has a
well-appointed kitchen and dining area
and has a toilet and shower room. With its
large covered veranda, it makes a perfect
place to gather for drinks or meals in the
shade.
Local shops are a 3 minute drive away
and a large supermarket is just 10 minutes
down the road.
So, if you are looking for that magic
combination of exclusive intimacy with a
reasonably sized lake, Lillypool may well
fit the bill. If you like the idea of a drive
and survive venue with clean and very
well appointed facilities, then Lillypool will
definitely be worth considering.

Lillypool was stocked with carp to just under 40lb in 2007. These fish were supplied by Michel Bigot, one of France’s most revered stockists. More recently 33 grass carp were stocked in September 2009 and then on 18th December 2009, Michel and Laurent Bigot and their fish farming team returned to add a further 55 carp... slightly more than we ordered but we just couldn't resist as they were all immaculate fish!
Six of the fish were just under 20lb with the rest ranging from 20 to 30lb. The average weight being 24lb 10oz and the biggest being 29lb 5oz, with two lovely commons of 28lb 12oz and 28lb. Click here to see pictures of the stocking.
The fact that all our fish have come from such good Bigot stock means we can look forward to excellent growth rates and our anglers to runs... and lots of them!
