Brief details of your catches: Fishing a short break 72 hours only. We caught approx 15 carp. Biggest 38lb,it included 2 commons at around 33lb. Nothing under 24lb in weight.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Most fish came at night. Nothing caught by the lillies, so we moved to swims 5 & 6. We also didn't have a bait boat which would have been a big advantage! We used size 4 hooks, bottom baits worked best we didn't have much on pop ups! Lots of bait needed

General comments: The lake was beautiful and we were lucky to have the venue to ourselves :-) Facilities were very good too.

General comments: Just back from what must be my most successful trip to france so far. I caught a total of 34 carp up to a 41lb 4oz common (PB), for a total weight of over 950lbs. All fish fell to the amazing QUEST BAITS RAHJA SPICE boilies and were single 18mm bottom baits and 18mm bottom baits with 14mm pop ups fished snowman style. The venue is predominantly a baitboat water where most fish are caught from the far margin at around 170-200 yards. However as the battery on the boat only got 2 runs before it needed recharging and there was only one charge point at the venue, I had no choice but to change my approach. I baited heavily with 18mm baits at around 110 yards and fished on the edges of the baited area. All except around 8 of my fish came to the cast rods and it was noticeable that all the bigger fish fell to this tactic and the smaller fish seemed to come to the close baiting pattern created by the boat. I am certain that yet again the rahja boilies gave me the edge. The fish were absolutely S******G it all over the mat. What more confidence can there be than seeing that. I am convinced that had I not started to run out of bait by Thursday morning I would have easily caught over 1000lbs during the week. Cheers Mate Jamie Simpson

Brief details of your catches: Unbelievable fishing!!! 47 fish in total topped by a 51.02 mirror. 4 x 40's (including a 46.06 common & a 41 fully scaled mirror), 19 x 30's (most over 35lb), rest good 20's (just a couple of doubles)

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Bait boat to far margin. We used loads of bait. All on bottom baits over a bed of hemp & pellets. 90% of the fish came from the far margin but the big 51 mirror came from around 60m out - so don't neglect at least one rod closer in

Were the facilities what you expected? Yes, very much so.

General comments: We fished swims 1 & 2 (the 51 came from swim 1). We had a fantastic session! Pictures to follow.

Brief details of your catches: 2 x 50's were the highlight of this week. We had 7 carp from peg 8, 2 fish from peg 3, and 25 carp between pegs 1 & 2. The biggest were 2 different carp at 51.08oz each .... both mirrors! Quite a few of the party had PB's this week. We were averaging the weight of the carp at mid 30's. ... but had 4 or 5 x 40's along with the two 50's!

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Most tactics worked, pop up's, bottom baits, plastic corn. All fished over a bed of Pellet and Particle. Quest baits did very well with the Tiger Nut! Crunch

General comments: Fantastic time, End pegs fished well, needed baitboat for the others. Could do with more than one socket for battery charging though. Already booked again for next year! Beautiful lake and surroundings. photo's to follow.

Brief details of your catches: This was a two week trip. The first week, we had around 36 fish smallest was 16.08oz and biggest 45.08 common. We had 8 or 10 twenties and nearly all the rest were 30's. We also had 3 x 40's this week as well, these were mirrors. Billy Callan had 12 carp on Quest Tiger Nut Crunch, biggest was 45lb mirror. Billy took his son Jimmy Callan aged 15yrs who had a great result with a PB of 45lb+ again on Quest,Tiger Nut Crunch

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: All types pop ups, bottom baits, corn, substantial beds put out particle hemp and pellet.
