Brief details of your catches: i blanked:-(! and brad caught carp of 18lb,27lb 2oz,29lb 12oz,31lb,and peaches at 39lb and a 5lb 8oz tench

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: i tried everything ! and mean everything and tried 3 other swims but my so called mate had all of his on a oil chicken pop-up and half a t1 dumbell snowman style and all chucks to nothing! nothing to baited areas

General comments: Someone had switched the lake off, there were no fish to be seen, one of those fishing nightmares that happen.

Brief details of your catches: 35lb carp - fake maize. 1 large tench. 30lb carp + one smallish cat - baits left out for a few days. Birds & the siltyness of the place is mind blowing. You have to look for harder spots in the silt & bait heavily cause of the birds.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Two carp between us - very poor fishing.

General comments: Could be heaven - Andrew is a great guy & the venue has everything you could want, except very, very silty & I think too few carp for 13 acres - 2 fish after we fished 24 hrs a day baited by boat & fished very hard. Fishing to the gravel yielded nothing, you need to be able to fish silt here to win. The swans are a living nightmare, birds always clear you out, you cannot fish off the island cause of the birds - do not take bright baits. It was a shame, we liked the owners but the fishing was way too inconsistent - I think a very hard venue.

General comments: A very pretty lake with good swims all round. I would recommend the food package... the evening meal is supplied by a local chef. Andrew the owner was more than helpful but was never in your face. I had a fantastic time.

General comments: Andy, who owns molyneux is a top guy. nothing was to much for him and he was always available for help and guidance. He also cooks a mean breakfast and the evening meals were of a high standard

General comments: As a seasoned angler in the UK and Europe i have to say that i feel the stock level is LOW as although i caught fish i saw none show and this is unheard of with highly stocked venues!!

General comments: Andy & his mother are great, they can't do enough for you while you are there. But the stocking levels in the lake are very poor. I think 255/300 fish in 11 acres is not enough. We have been to France for the last 9 years & this is the poorest lake for we that we have fished. The lake contains far too many coots so you cannot bait an area up because they just clear it & at the price of bait you do not want it. Don't get me wrong, I love wildlife in moderation. Then you have got the swan that clears your swim. I think Andy has to look at this problem. One evening we were talking to Andy & the swam came round & cleared every baited area. Andy said that it had cleared the other lads swims twice & thought it was funny, I don't. We came home a day early & I was not happy at Andy's attitude. He did not speak or say goodbye or have a safe journey or talk about the week. He just sat with his cup of tea & I just think that's ignorant. It's the worst week in France we have had & shall not visit the venue again or recommend it.

General comments: we recieved a warm welcome and a coffee on arrival from andrews mum this was great as we were all tired as we drove through the night. fishing was slow on most of the lake most fish were from main island,just one of those weeks i guess! andrew was really helpfull but only if you needed it.he does not hassle you in the slightest,but was very pleasant and easy going all week just , like one of the lads thanks for a nice week see you again!

General comments: Andrew was extremely helpful and always around when you needed him. Great start to the week but the weather was poor and knocked the fish back but this didn't spoil an excellent week
