Brief details of your catches: I had 38 fish including 8 twenties to 29lb and 5 sturgeon to 17lb, lost 17.  My mate had 11 fish including 4 twenties at 21lb, 22lb, 26lb, 27lb and 1 sturgeon at 12lb, he lost 6.

Brief details of your catches:  Mainline Assassin 8, Activ Maple 8, Trigga.  Very few on tiger.  Margin depth goes from 2ft to 4ft, water level very low.  Mainline is the best bait as the locals use it!

Were the facilities what you expected?  Ok

Were you happy with them?  Shower and toilet ok, but having to wash in same sink as you wash your pots and pans in (which was blocked) was not very nice!

General comments:  Food excellent, English bacon and sausage for breakfast.

Dear Angling Lines,

On Friday 19th Sept three of us arrived at Roseau carp fishery in France to begin our 3 day trip booked through you.

With myself being a keen carp angler, brother in law being a new boy and my Dad (there to make the number up with no real interest in Carp at all!) we began our three day session.

We found the lake very peaceful apart from the odd goat passing by taking some of our bait with them as they went.  We were using simple helicopter rigs with feeders packed with Cat and Dog pellet, with various 20mm boilies as the hook baits.

This method we continued to use throughout the three days and we ended up with a catch between two of us of  525lb, with the biggest being 38lb and the smallest 9lb.

We had a fantastic weekend and would highly recommend it to your customers.  One bit of advice, don't worry about the bivvy, you wont to have time to use it!!!

Brief details of your catches: 12x 20lb+ fish - biggest 26lb, also 2 smaller carp at 16lb 2oz and 14lb 6oz.  Grass carp at 16lb 4oz and sturgeon at 9lb 10oz. 
Friend had 2 sturgeon - biggest 12lb and 3 carp - biggest 16lb 3oz. 

I wanted a 20lb+ fish and got a lot more than I bargained for - superb fishing, superb people, superb weather.

Brief details of your catches:  Centre of lake on top of gravel.  Margins - no joy.  Single boilie with catapulted boilies over the top, tried heavy baiting and got less action.  Huge, large roach/bream shoals.

General comments:  Were unhappy that, although only 2nd at the venue, we had only a choice of swims 3 - 6.  Generally a nice venue, very good fishing - will use you again.  Christophe & co. were very friendly.  Weather was 40+, exceptionally hot.  Should be a maximum of 2 rods per angler or less swims.

Brief details of your catches: I caught 553lbs of carp; 2x 18lb sturgeon, 16 carp between 11-19lb, 7 carp over 20lb - biggest 27lb.  I had a lot of small tench when using a method.  3 fish in the night all week.  Fished well between 5pm to 10pm.  

My 4 friends caught 386lb between them.  Fished the small lake on the last 2 days - hard lake but had 5 fish over 20lb on the last day.

Brief details of your catches:  Method right out in the middle and single boilie, keep using the same boilie, tight drag on bait runner.  Best baits - Top Banana, Squid and Octopus by Solar and Maple 8.  Top Banana was the best as a single bait.

General comments:  Make directions better on map.  Some rats at night.  Don't forget the goats - zip up your bivvies!

Were you happy with them?  Yes.  Having never been fishing in France before, never knew what to expect.  Adequate but nothing special.

General comments:  Weather was 32 deg C+ every day.  Almost unbearable during the day.  Most fish came late evening or early morning.

Dear Bridget

I just wanted to drop you a line regarding our trip to Le Roseau in April.  I wanted to let you know we all had a great time despite some rather changeable weather.  Plenty of good food and perhaps too much red wine, with great hosts.

I have enclosed some photo's of myself and Tony Saville with some of our captures for the 4 days which totalled 42 fish to 25lb.  All of the fish were caught on the method with either Activ 8 or Tiger nuts as hook bait.

You will be pleased to know I will be contacting you later to book for 2004.  Once again thanks for a great holiday.

Brief details of your catches: Between the 8 anglers, during our 4 day visit, we caught over 1250lb of carp with the largest going to 26 ¾ lb.  The catch also included 6 fish over 20lb with the majority being around the 15lb mark.

Brief details of your catches:  The majority of the fish were caught in the middle of the lake, or to the bank the wind was blowing to.  Most fish fell to pellet or Activ8 boilies with a method set up.

Were the facilities what you expected?  Worse

Were you happy with them?  Not entirely, the shower unit could do with an upgrade.  But on the plus side our hosts were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble.

Would you recommend the venue to a friend?  Yes, but not if they were after larger specimens.

Brief details of your catches: My friend had fish ranging from 12lb to 23lb, total fish 35, only 4x 20's.  I had fish from 11lb to 28 ½ lb, 13x 20lb plus, total fish 73.  Very good place if you like action all day long, not for the pro fisherman.  Total of 108 fish caught. 

Brief details of your catches:  Activ8 boilies, mid range fishing into the wind.  Far bank is the best place to fish, with the wind blowing at you, most of the fish hold up on the far bank.

Brief details of your catches: My dad had 17 fish in the week, including the biggest at 24lb 8oz, 19lb 12oz, 2x 18lb, 3x 17lb, 3x 16lb, 7x 15lb and below.  

I caught more than him with a total of 23 fish including the biggest at 23lb 8oz - my PB, 2x 20lb+, 3x 18lb, 3x 17lb, 4x 16lb, 8x 15lb and below.  Most of these were caught on pineapple scopex and fruitburst.

Brief details of your catches:  Fishing in the middle in the day and in the margins at night.  It worked well using a stringer and putting particles around it with bright coloured boilies like pineapple and tutti frutti.

Small lake:
41lb 8oz mirror landed by a French angler after only a few hours on the lake.  He fished single boilie over a bed of 500g of hemp. 
Large lake:
Catch of the week again to a French anglers was 60 fish in 48 hours fishing. The smallest going 15lb 4oz and the largest 29lb 7oz.  The biggest fish of the week on the big lake was a superb 35lb 2oz mirror.
