Brief details of your catches: Not a right lot I'm sad to say....Several crayfish, and a handfull of low double figure commons.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Six rods between us long and short range.Trying to find liners at all distances to no avail. Crays hammered broken baits

Were the facilities what you expected? great gite

General comments: Lovely looking water, and the gite was top notch.Phillipe and Ann Marie great hosts and great meals.And Phillipe is a typical speed freak French driver as he demonstrated this by driving his sit down lawnmower straight into the lake! We towed it back out for him of course. We found the weeks fishing very moody and with 40 years of carp fishing experience between us we were giving it 110% to no avail.But thats fishing, when it ceases to be a challenge I'd give it up. Enjoyed the week though overall

Brief details of your catches: 5 x Mirrors: 1 x 41lb, 1 x 38lb, 1 x 34lb, 1 x 29.2, 1 x 24.2.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Runless for 2 days, then Quest Fruity Trifle boilies over corn and pellets did the trick. Fish were spawning again so not interested in feeding.

General comments: Marie looked after us as usual. This is my third visit to St Cristophe 2 and the stamp of fish is tremendous. No commons this time which was unusual but most of the fish were spawning. What potential this lake has.
