What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Wendy - feed particle little & often with few chopped boilies & pellet.Russ - Smokey Mac boilies, particle, pellet fished tight to snags.

General comments: One of the best trips so far. Lovely lakes, peaceful, pretty, very helpful hosts (even Dids!) Worth a return trip - Russ Excellent venue, lovely hosts & beautifully kept lakes. Fishing slower than expected but weather not too good for carp fishing. Will come back! - Wendy. Lovely venue, great fighting fish. Dave was a great help with tactics. Will return -Chris. General comments: Shower & toilet both kept beautifully clean, cabin was perfect. A fabulous setting, most peaceful place I've fished. Dave & family were wonderful. A great mix of big fish and a perfect 'Runs Water' Fantastic.

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Tight to the snags, baiting up with maize, hemp, party mix and pellet. Maize, pineapple and popup corn worked well on the hair, Yellow Baits!!!

General comments: Dave and Sue are wonderful hosts, dave is a really down to earth guy that loves his fishing, and sue's food was brilliant!!! for my first France trip, was over the moon, will be returning next year!!!! thanks Dave, Sue & Did!!

General comments: Fishing wise this venue offers anglers the best of both worlds. Serious Carp anglers can tackle the Carp Lake which has the bigger fish but requires more thought and hard work. The Catfish Lake offers anglers the option to catch plenty of fish to upper teens/low 20's. The Catfish are great fun. We landed 5 but lost many more due to inexperiance on our part and inadequate tackle on another. Food wise we were served a consistant load of c..p!!!! (only joking Sue!!) The food was superb!!! always served with a smile and cheery word and a credit to Sue's skills. She coped with my food allergy with consumate ease and was always creative in her dishes. General comments: We have had a wonderful week, this is a picturesque and peaceful venue. The fish are in prime condition and put up a great fight. Sue's food package is great value for money, there is always plenty and it's great grub. Facilities lovely and clean, nice hot shower. We will be back for another go!

What did you find were the best tactics/baits: Accurate baiting and rig placement. Paying close attention to the features, bait boat use is preferable. Smokey Macks worked well.

Were the facilities what you expected? Yes, excellent & a lovely cabin.

General comments: Despite a nightmare journey (due to a breakdown) & very bad weather, we had a great week. The venue is lovely & very well maintained. The food package is well worth the money (breakfast is the bollocks!). Sue & Dave were very helpful, friendly & most importantly we all had a laugh. We highly recommend Windmill & we will return when the sun comes out!!!

General comments: the roof blew off the cabin two days prior to our holiday. would of been better off staying in england and going to a mud bath.
