\nWe have worked with Vincons<\/a> for over 10 years now and it has been the venue that many of us in the office have chosen\u00a0to frequent\u00a0as our ‘chilled out’ holiday destination. A 12 acre runs water, lakeside cabin, stone gite and swimming pool all sit within the grounds of the Bouchot’s family farm in central France.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

When we visited this autumn\u00a0we were amazed by the upgrades to the gites and lake, so we promptly took a tonne of photos and have since updated the site. We’ve added a few below and if you’re looking for a venue to suit a range of anglers and non-anglers, we think you should take a good look here…<\/p>\n

Vincons<\/a> offers 2 choices of accommodation \u2013 the lodge at the lakeside and a fully renovated cottage 5 minutes walk away.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

The 12 acre lake was created in 1965 and has been left completely natural.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

If there’s one thing Vincons has in abundance it is space. There’s plenty of big grassy areas around the lake and beautifully manicured grounds surrounding the pool.<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

The lodge is situated right on the lake side, perfect for alfresco lunches while keeping an eye on your rods<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

You will be warmly greeted by the Bouchot family who grow cereal and breed wild boar here. Vincons lies in the very picturesque region of the Cher, and takes around 5 hours to reach from Calais by car. <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n

There’s also the stone gite just a few minutes walk from the lake, which is disturbingly nicer furnished inside than most of our own homes!<\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
