3. Jonchery 8 – up to 3 anglers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Following the success of Jonchery #7<\/a> featured above, the Bachelier family set out to create a similar small lake exclusive venue again on the same complex. This time however, they would aim to stock a higher average weight and slightly less carp – the end result being slightly less of a runs water but a big fish water.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This 3 acre lake holds carp to over 60lb and is ideal for up to 3 anglers, all fishing from one very gravelled large swim. On site you will find good facilities, food packages and bait available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“We had 20 carp up to 57lb 8oz for the week, which given the weather conditions and late spawning was a good result! We had 4 fish over 40 with the majority left being in the 30’s. 9. Deux Iles<\/a> – up to 2 anglers on each island<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Slightly different to the lakes featured above, 8 acre Deux Iles is designed for 4 anglers BUT the layout is quite unique and so offers pairs of anglers a quality fishing experience whereby you have a very clear half the lake to yourselves. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are just two islands on this lake, both with a cabin and enough room to comfortably accommodate 2 anglers. Each has its own half of the lake, as described above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The venue\u00a0is very rural, with no sounds of traffic or disturbance. It is situated just a 2hr 45 drive from Calais and 1hr 30\u00a0from Le Havre. The total number of carp in the lake is\u00a0around one hundred and fifty, with the lake record into the mid 50’s now. There are also around 15 koi carp in the lake, a sturgeon, a few zander, pike and perch too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11. Brie<\/a> – up to 4 anglers<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Brie is designed for up to 4 anglers, but works well for pairs or trios too. The lake features two spacious double swims extending into the water, providing excellent access to all areas of the lake. The big selling point here is the large head of 40lb+ carp, with multiple large 50lb+ carp on the bank often.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is also a truly beautiful lake, set in a serene Nature Reserve. It features a slight bend in the margins and offers plenty of features to fish, including reeds, lilies, and overhanging trees.
