\nA great start to the season at 15 acre gravel pit Blue Lake<\/a>, here’s the feedback from the group of 7 that took over the lake last week…<\/strong><\/p>\n

Holiday date:<\/span> Sat 11th Apr<\/span> to Sat 18th Apr 2015<\/span>

\nNumber of anglers:<\/span> 7<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Details of your catches: <\/span>4 sturgeon biggest 58lb, Carp – 2 x 40lb+ biggest 45lb 7oz , 12 x 30lb , 35 x 20lb, 4 x 10lb , 1 grass<\/p>\n

Your best tactics\/bait\/rigs:<\/span> Lot of bait small areas, snowman, critically balanced singles, bait boat helped!!! Need to find features.
\nFish came at night, early morning.<\/p>\n

Were the facilities what you expected?<\/span> Yes
\nWere you happy with them?<\/span> Yes<\/p>\n

Would you recommend the venue to a friend? <\/span>Yes a runs water, good fish, nice big swims.
\nWould you recommend our services to a friend?<\/span> Yes very happy, well organised.<\/p>\n

General comments:<\/span> As the week went on and got warmer the fishing just got better and better! Some very big catches to be had if you put the work in, could do with a few more 40’s, but a big head of fish!<\/p>\n
