Tucked away in its own secluded valley on the edge of the Limousin-Perigord Natural Park<\/a><\/strong>, this lake is about as peaceful and picturesque as it gets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

More than just another carp lake, MDP Lake is a labour of love<\/strong>, the dream-turned-reality of owners Scott and Heather. From the moment you step onto the grounds, it\u2019s clear just how much passion and care has gone into crafting this experience – and we\u2019re confident it won\u2019t take long before you fall in love with it too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The venue centers around a 4.5-acre lake<\/strong> nestled within 15 acres of rolling French countryside. With the river Crassat<\/strong> to the west and ancient oak woodland<\/strong> to the east, MDP Lake is a haven not just for carp anglers, but also for wildlife lovers and anyone in need of some peaceful escape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a venue that has seen very little angling pressure, the carp have been allowed to mature undisturbed. The result? Fish that feed confidently and an excellent average weight already.<\/p>\n\n\n

MDP Lake is home to a well-balanced stock of carp to over 48lb<\/strong>, with a very healthy average weight in the mid-30s. But it\u2019s not just about size – the quality of the fish and the natural environment they live in are second to none.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The lake has been expertly crafted by Scott, a highly experienced carp angler and fishery manager with over 40 years of experience, a background at Sparsholt College, and three decades in fish farming and the water industry. Every element of this venue, from snag removal to swim placement, has been considered with both the angler and the fish in mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
