Overview
Cerises is a 3 acre carp lake close to Calais, offering a lake exclusive perfect for groups of 2-3 anglers (4 at a push). The lake is well-established with overhanging margins and a small island providing plenty of interest.
An added bonus is the lakeside lodge situated behind the main double swim. This is included in your booking and provides very simple but clean accommodation sleeping up to 4 people. There's also a terraced dining area with a lovely view of the lake, perfect for sharing meals whilst waiting for the buzzers to go.
The fishing here is a mixed bag of sizes so you can expect anything from doubles to 30lb+, with a current lake record of 52lb. If you're a group looking for straightforward carp fishing with the chance of a big carp on the bank then it's a great choice.
This is a quiet, rural retreat with a lovely ambience - yet not far from shops, facilities and supermarkets in the nearby town of Pacy-sur-Eure and the city of Paris is just over an hour away. Best of all it's only 3 hours from Calais!
