Overview
Opened in 2021, Ragon is a well stocked 10 acre lake set in quiet countryside. A cabin with large veranda sits centrally on one bank where you can socialise over a BBQ whilst enjoying the excellent fishing the lake has to offer. It is ideal for groups of 2-5 anglers where the social aspect of carp fishing in France is also important.
The lake holds many superb hand-picked scaley mirrors, commons and even koi. Combine this with a good number of sizeable 40lb+ and 50lb+ carp, and you've got yourself some very memorable fishing.
Owner Chris Lafaille has piled his knowledge and experience into this lake. We've worked with Chris for over a decade at his first venue, the famous Boux. We're confident that Ragon provides the same high quality carp fishing in France.

"49 fish between 3 adults and 2 children. The kids showing us how it’s done with a 54lb common and mirror each. We will definitely be back as all the fish we caught were in very good order and put up good hard fights. Facilities are a good balance of usability and comfort, without being too refined that you couldn’t relax in. Chris was a very knowledgeable man who clearly takes pride in his fishery and was genuinely pleased to see photos and discuss tactics. Wonderful week."
