Overview
Lassicourt - A Wild Carp Fishing Haven for the Thinking Angler
Tucked away in France’s Champagne region, Lassicourt Lake is a raw and naturally beautiful 13.5-acre gravel pit, deliberately crafted to offer a more wild carp fishing experience. This is not a polished commercial venue - it’s a lake with soul, shape and character. Designed for the angler who thrives on challenge, it’s packed with features, natural obstacles and plenty of space between swims, allowing you to approach your fishing with thought and strategy.
With a rich stock of around 350 carp and a lake record exceeding 63lb, there's the chance of a monster here. Overall you can expect a wide range of carp from low 20's right into the 60's.
The lake has been carefully laid out with just four swims, for a total of 6 anglers. These are two single swims, a double swim and one swim that can be a single or double (depending on your group make up). Swims 2 and 3 in particular are good to book together for groups of 2 or 3 anglers that want to fish together socially. Swims are booked in advance here, so you'll need to decide which swim you'd like when you book, alternatively you can hire the whole lake for exclusive use.
Because of the nature of this lake, it is mandatory to have at least one rowing boat (with lifejackets) on each swim - you can bring your own or hire one from the venue.
Lassicourt is managed by the well regarded French FOX consultant Constant Lebel, who you may recognise from his other very successful venue Fullys Lake. The lake is a straight forward 4 hour drive from the port of Calais.
This venue is open throughout the winter, however the facilities are much more limited, please contact us to discuss.

Reviews
"100% would recommend this one, really lovely lake with lots of features and character. The lake feels very private in every swim because of the way the islands split up the lake, the swims are very spacious and having the boat available to hire is a really nice bonus! Over 24hrs I had landed 7 carp including a 41lb common and a 39lb mirror."
