Overview
Eau De Vie South is a beautiful spring fed 2-acre lake which has been lovingly restored by owners Gary & Angeline. Offering plenty of features and with carp to over 46lb, this stunning lake suits anglers wanting a more intimate and secluded setting.
A refurbished railway carriage offers comfortable and simple accommodation sleeping up to four (two twin bedrooms), with a double swim directly outside and stunning views across the lake. You can alternatively choose to bivvy up together on the large peninsula swim, which offers the perfect base for a social.
You hire this venue on a private basis for a maximum of three anglers, it is the perfect retreat for exclusive carp fishing in France, nestled in a tiny hamlet in th e Pays De Le Loire region.
There are also tasty optional food packages and bait available to purchase on site. If you wish to fly, the nearest airports are Rennes and Nantes, both approximately 1 hour away and the venue can provide full tackle hire (see tackle hire tab for more information and prices).
Struggling to get the date you want on Eau de Vie South? Check out the sister lake on the complex Eau de Vie North. Alternatively, for parties of up to 7 anglers the North Lake can be booked together with the South Lake which is also on the same site.

"Gary and Ange were brilliant hosts. Food package was brilliant, Ange is a great cook. Fishing was challenging at times, but hard work paid off in the end with landing the biggest fish in the lake on our last evening. Both of us left with a new PB! The lake is beautiful and tranquil and we had such a relaxing week, we can’t wait to visit again."
