Etang MDP is nestled in its own little valley located on the border of the Limousin-Perigord Natural Park. The passion that has been poured into creating this carp lake is evident from the moment you arrive and we’re confident that our anglers will fall in love with the place.
The 4.5 acre water is set in 15 acres of beautiful countryside that the region is renowned for. Flanked to the west by the river Crassat and to the east by mature oak woodland. It’s a true paradise for nature lovers. You hire the lake exclusively for the week for up to three anglers, with the three comfortable single swims resting along the east bank. This is accompanied by a central social area featuring a BBQ and picnic bench, allowing you to socialise whilst keeping your rods out.
You'll find a good head of quality carp to over 48lb, with a very decent average weight in the mid thirties.
You are ensured a warm welcome from owners Scott and Heather, who live on site. Scott has over 40 years of carp fishing experience, supported by three years at Sparsholt College and 30 years in the fish farming, fishery management and water industry.
Owning a water near Limoges has been Scott's dream since he first fished in the region nearly 20 years ago. Together with Heather, they turned this dream into reality just before Brexit, embracing the challenge of creating their own fishery. All the painstaking and attentive work of swim building, snag removal, planting and fishery enhancement has been done by them. Now it's time for them to share their dream.
