Overview
Carp fishing in France with accommodation at Mas Bas
Mas Bas is sited on an old 80 acre farm estate. Set in a stunning valley in the heart of rural south west France, the privacy of the site offers excellent carp fishing in a tranquil environment. It attracts both serious anglers and because of the excellent facilities on site it's extremely popular for family groups too.
It's specimen carp fishing here as there are carp to over 50lb with a good head of 30's and 40's too. There is excellent accommodation right on the lakeside, so close you can fish from your bedchair on the veranda. A private swimming pool tops everything off, you just can’t help but fall in love with this venue.
The main house can sleep a maximum of 10/11 people. There are three bedrooms on the first floor and also a further two bedrooms (one with en suite) on the lower ground floor which are available at an additional cost, just tick that you require them when getting a quote online.
There's also Mas Bas Lotus Lake to take a look at, it is the main lake's smaller sister, again with lakeside accommodation and its own swimming pool. There's the option to hire the whole complex if you wish to take a larger group.
Mas Bas benefits from the lovely sunny climate of southern France... but if you don’t fancy the drive from the UK why not consider flying? The nearest airport, Bergerac, is around 1 hour away and we’ve seen flights as low as £60 return. You can hire all your tackle & buy bait on-site so it’s a real option. The other airports to consider flying in to are Bordeaux and Toulouse, both around 1hr 20mins away from the venue.

"1000% recommend. Taking 6 non anglers on a 'fishing holiday' was slightly nerve-wracking however Mas Bas did not disappoint! Everyone had an amazing time and the tranquil setting allows for total relaxation. So many memories made including my son landing a 44lb fish on his own, doubling his PB before I was even set up!
