20 Fish For One Angler, 9th Nov

We've just had a phone call from Tim Smart (9th November), who is fishing Beaurepaire this week. Tim has taking a battering & had around 20 fish so far. The temperature dropped after a few days and the fishing slowed down so he moved swims.

On Wednesday he had 7 fish to 43lb including a 36lb grass carp. He didn’t fish Weds night as he needed to prepare rigs as he didn’t get chance during the day. He started fishing again at 9am this morning & had a 38lb at 09.40, 39lb at 10.05 & 46lb at 10.40!

Congratulations Tim, another fantastic result for a late season trip.

New 60lb+ Lake Record, 6th Nov

Congratulations to Simon, who landed a pristine 61lb mirror last week. Waiting until later in the season really paid off!

Winter Work To The Lake, 30th Aug

We intend to carry out work to deepen and widen the gap between the two spits this winter. This should help to keep fish moving between the two bays.

Water Level Update, 22nd Mar

Just a quick update on the lake - the spit is currently underwater and recent weather saw the water levels rise at the beginning of this month as predicted.

There is still plenty of space to bivvy up around the lake but please be aware that the levels may rise/fall quickly so best to bivvy up a little further from the edge than you would ordinarily for the next couple of weeks.
