Boux is falling apart banks are caveing in left looking skruffy we wont be going back no more .money you pay to fish the place and its like that joke

General Comments:

We wont be going back boux no more its not getting looked after .and its verry pricey getting there save up all year to go to a hell hole .walking on wood bank lucky never broke a toe or foot. With all tree roots .we been going boux 8 years naw we will never go back. *Angling Lines Note* Thankyou for your feedback. Chris now confirms that action will be taken to improve the anglers pathway (which has many trip hazzards at present) over this winter in conjunction with the owner of the land. In the meantime anglers have the option to boat their tackle to their swims on the wooded bank or use the dam wall bank, which is a flat walk from the car park.

Small pop ups, imitation corn at distance to far margins, small beds of party mix and boilies

Yes they are perfect for your needs.

Yes but they are a little to far from the bank and you need to plan your trips there to charge batteries etc. Dunny in the woods is a life saver.

Yes, a long drive from Calais though 6hrs

General Comments:

On arrival was met by Phillipe. Nice helpful man but no English spoken but we managed to communicate, the track to the main swims is a bit tricky but not as bad as people make out, I’m 66 and made it ok if you take your time, swims good but slippery when wet, overhanging trees could do with a trim to help casting, lake is in very nice condition with very little weed. Crayfish were not active so no problem, fish spawned later in the week so explained why not many fish were caught plus the temperature reached 31 degrees by mid week. In all we enjoyed our trip and the wildlife is a bonus (friendly rats, mice and Coypu). Would be nice to have facilities closer to the fishing area, the dunny in the woods is fine giving you lovely views of the woods and and lake while you contemplate your fishing 😂

The fishing pegs need trim for a better cast. The track to the swim is horrible.
