Better, brand new toilets and shower block built. Plenty of electric points, ample fridge and freezer space.

Angling Lines were brilliant, saved our fishing trip after a late cancellation on another venue (not with Angling Lines)

Beautiful venue. Stunning fish. I can see Lepinet being a top venue in the future.

1 x 53lb 9 x 40lbers 10 x 30lbers Lots of 20lbers / upper doubles 1 koi About 10-15 fish lost.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Bottom baits fished at range on most pegs. At 140 / 160 yards. Baitworks royal marine / CC Moore live system boiles tipped with fake corn / 14mm halibut pellet. Bait boats a must.

Were the facilities what you expected?

It’s a new facility/ venue, the showers were clean and tidy. There was 2 freezers for bait and food, plus a fridge for food. Plenty of plug sockets for charging batteries / phones etc. It’s work in progress. But I expect when it’s complete it’s going to be good.

Were you happy with them?

Yes we were happy with the facilities, although I think I would recommend taking a bike as it’s bit of a hike from the furthest pegs. 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Most definitely yes. This venue is a big fish venue. It’s going to be very popular in the years to come.

This is my fourth trip with Angling Lines, they never fail to deliver and good service. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them.

General Comments:

Bait boat / rowing boat is a must to reach the fish. Take plenty of terminal tackle (hooks) as the gravel bottom blunts them very quickly. The fish here seem to fight and scrap like no others I have encountered before. The venue, although new was clean / tidy as you would expect.

Between 3 of us we managed 15 carp which included 5x 40lbs+ biggest was 48 x 2,7 x 30lbs+ and 3 x 20lbs +

We fished boilies with fake corn, pellets and particle

The facilities were spot on. Theres a shower block and toilets. Theres also a chest freezer for bait and fridge freezer for food and drinks

Details of your catches:

We had a fantastic week with 120 fish between the 5 us. The highlight being a sturgeon of approximately 160lb. Biggest carp was 53.04, we had 20 x 40lb+carp and 35 x 30lb+ carp, the rest were mostly 20s, with a large number around the 28lb mark.

Your best tactics/bait/rigs:

Fishing at distance towards the middle of the lake produced the most fish, however the tree line was a close second. Bottom baits worked the best.

Were the facilities what you expected?

The facilities are basic, but the owner as only had the lake a matter of weeks and was well under way building a new one that looks great.

Yes but they are basic

Yes angling lines have been fantastic, our original venue was cancelled on the day we were leaving and the alternative was great, they have always got the anglers interest at heart and do their upmost to to make your holiday enjoyable. Bridget even came down to the lake to check the we were all satisfied with the venue.

General Comments:

Very nice lake with plenty of carp in very good condition. A few snags that need to be removed.
