Fishing Rules
- We provide a landing net, mat and sling free of charge for use during your week. Please use these to avoid cross contamination of bacteria from other lakes. In the event of damage to the equipment, you may be charged
- A rowing boat is available free of charge. Only 1 person in the boat at one time, and you MUST wear compulsory lifejacket (available on site). There is also the possibility to rent an electric motor on site (30e for the week)
- Baitboats are allowed
- Use of one hook per line, maximum size no. 2 barbless.
- Nylon main line. Braid strictly prohibited, leadcore prohibited. Mandatory to have a lead that releases in the event of a snag. Head of line 0.45mm maximum
- Quick release of fish after weighing and photos and gentle handling. Please no standing with fish. Compulsory to use carp care, like Klinik.
- No sacking of carp
- Sweetcorn, hemp seed and toasted seeds (soak 20 minutes) are allowed. Pellet is allowed. Other types of seed are prohibited
- Please don't leave rods unattended
- Any deliberate mutilation of a fish will result in immediate expulsion. Any other mode of fishing is strictly prohibited, predator fishing is prohibited
General Rules
- Unloading of tackle is in the car park, a trolley is available for you to go to the swim which is located 50 meters away
- It is strictly forbidden to cut trees or branches around the lake
- Swimming is strictly prohibited
- Anyone under 16 must be supervised by an adult at all times when fishing.
- Pets are not allowed
- Campfires are prohibited. A barbecue is available for your use on the swim. Ashes should not be placed on the ground
- RUBBISH - in France by law you must sort plastic, glass and common waste into separate bags. At the end of the week the owner will collect these from your swim. Please keep the site clean. Cigarette butts must be put in the outdoor ashtray
- Please do not enter the toilets with your dirty shoes or boots. After your visit, please leave facilities clean as you found them
- The owner of the site declines all responsibility in the event of theft, damage or accident on the site
- Excessive consumption of alcohol is prohibited and narcotics are prohibited
- The site is equipped with CCTV. Images and videos are stored only on the manager's computer for an indefinite period. They may be used in the event of breach of the rules, theft, damage or any other reason deemed necessary
- Any breach of the rules above may result in the exclusion of the fisherman depending on the seriousness of the fault, without the possibility of reimbursement
- If you or a member of your party experiences any issues during your holiday, please report them immediately to the venue owner/bailiff and to Angling Lines. This allows us the opportunity to resolve the matter while you are still at the lake, in line with our holiday Terms & Conditions.
